Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Rare 1940s Clover Jacquard Linen with Eyelet Ruffle

These pants are made from a vintage Clover woven Jacquard Linen Tablecloth with Eyelet Trom. I would say this is a light weight fabric.  This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :).

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1940s-1950s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but I would say the body is linen (I've actually never seen the Jacquard weave before with the arches and clovers. I got it from a private buy of linens from Tulsa's Historic Harweldon Mansion), the ruffle I actually harvested from a vintage bed skirt, and I would say is cotton or a cotton blend

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes or stains noted, this has been hand-washed

Waist: stretches from 22 inches to 40 inches around

Rise:  16.25  inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23.5 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 50 inches around

Thigh: 34 inches around

Total Length:  37 inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  24 inches across from side to side measured at the hem
