Handmade High Waist Ruffled Pantaloon Pants- Ultra Rare 1960s Jacquard Butterfly Silk

These pants are made from vintage silk woven butterfly fabric.  I would say this is a light  weight fabric. This pant is made from a vintage palazzo pant pattern and features a wide leg, full ruffle trim, high waist, and elastic waist band to fit a variety of sizes. It also has inseam pockets for maximum comfort and utility :)

Color Scheme: rust and gold

Approx Age: This fabric was probably from the 1960s-1970s, handmade recently

Fabric: no tags, but its definitely silk, this type of silk is like a double weave silk to get that woven in butterflies, typically this type of Jacquard silk is Mulberry,  the ruffle trim is made from the same fabric, but I have flipped it over to what I see is the back to give it a cutesy lil' contrast

Condition: Very Good wearable condition, the elastic is new and super stretchy, no holes  noted. Please note, while this has been hand-washed, there is still some light discolorations that add to the lovliness of piece

Waist: stretches from 24  inches to 45 inches around

Rise:   15.5 inches from base of crotch to top of pants

Inseam: 23 inches from base of crotch to end of pants

Hips: up to 58 inches around

Thigh: 39 inches around

Total Length: 37  inches from top to bottom

Pant Width:  24  inches across from side to side measured at the hem
